Full Mouth Veneers
West Linn, OR

Be honest with yourself: is your smile where you want it to be? Does your smile come with the ease of knowing that you are not harshly judged when you flash your pearly whites at a peer, friend, significant other, or coworker? For those of you who may not have those perfectly straight, white, and even teeth that we associate with a beautiful smile, dental veneers may be exactly what you need to feel good about your smile once more. We here at ZenTech Dentistry are pleased to offer dental veneers to our patients, restoring both their smile and their confidence in as little as two appointments.

How Full Mouth Dental Veneers Can Benefit You

If you think of unsightly chicklet teeth when you think of veneers, then you need to learn about the newer generations of this amazing dental technology! Sure, in the past dental veneers were too harshly white, bright, and square, lending an unnatural and unattractive appearance to those who elected to have them. However, dental veneers have come a long way since their unsightly forebears, giving people a natural and stunning smile without pain or fuss.

Dental veneers are great for a variety of cosmetic concerns that our patients may have. For instance, if your teeth are stained and discolored and are not responding to bleaching or whitening treatments, veneers can help them look white once again. Dental veneers are also a fantastic option for people who may have uneven spaces or gaps between their teeth. They can also conceal chips or superficial cracks in your teeth. If your teeth have started to wear down or become uneven, or the enamel has started to thin due to age or genetics, then dental veneers can help strengthen and reinforce them.

There are two main types of dental veneers that we offer here, and both come with their advantages. For our patients who are looking for a long-lasting and natural appearance, but at a somewhat more affordable price point, composite resin is a very good option. These veneers are also known as direct veneers and can be completed in just one appointment for many patients. They require less shaping of the underlying tooth, making it an easier option, too. However, they are more fragile than porcelain and can become damaged if you are not careful with them.

Porcelain veneers are slightly more expensive but are stronger and more resilient than composite resin. They can last twice as long as composite resin, up to fifteen years. To avoid breaking or chipping your veneers, avoid biting down on hard foods, chewing on ice, and biting your nails. If you grind your teeth at night, you may benefit from a mouth guard when you sleep. Be sure to brush and floss them as you would your natural teeth to help preserve them, as well. These can take up to two appointments to fit properly, and your tooth will need to be filed down and shaped. These procedures are not reversible and may require an anesthetic to help prevent any discomfort during the procedure.
