The Right Way to Brush Your Teeth
We suggest using a pea-sized amount of toothpaste each time you brush your teeth. If you use more than that, depending on the toothpaste, you will most likely have more foam than you want in your mouth. In addition, you will find yourself spitting more than brushing. It is important that you do not swallow your toothpaste. Lastly, it is a waste of toothpaste. Using less toothpaste will still be adequate to brush your teeth.
A little toothpaste goes a long way. Save yourself some quarters and use only a pea sized amount of toothpaste to brush all surfaces of your teeth. We suggest creating a routine, so you are sure to hit each area every time you brush. Gently brush your teeth twice a day. It is also a good idea to floss once a day. Don't forget to replace your toothbrush every three months, or more often if someone accidentally uses your toothbrush.
